Mission Statement: The mission of St. Joseph Catholic School is to assist parents
and families by providing a Christ centered environment for their children,
forming them spiritually, academically and socially, for active participation
in the Church, in their families and in society. |
Goals: St. Joseph students will be educated in the following areas. Experiences will be selected to direct the child’s learning towards the following objectives:
Academic Growth:
Provide a faith-based quality learning environment
Provide an age-appropriate learning curriculum
Develop intellectual skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and open-minded understanding
Develop each student’s individual academic potential
Social Development:
Learn wise use of leisure time
Discover and develop imagination, originality, and creative abilities
Practice the principles of sharing and Christian giving
Learn to work independently and in groups
Spiritual Formation:
Grow in knowledge and appreciation of spiritual values
Gain a sense of strong moral values and a capacity for right judgment
Give witness to the faith
Form a social conscience with a zeal for the common good
